For years one of small businesses’ biggest allies on the Hill has been Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee Chairwoman Mary Landrieu. She was the person most responsible for getting SBIR reauthorization legislation passed through Congress a year and a half ago, and most recently she has used her office to take steps to pressure the federal agencies to implement a lot of the changes that were included in the SBIR bill, such as Commercialization goals & incentives.
The SBTC wanted to let her know that we are thankful for her continued support of the SBIR program and of high-tech American small business, so we have drafted and sent this letter to her thanking her for all of her work:
